New stuff...

I have some news to share with the world...

Christopher is finally going back to school! The sad yet exciting thing is that we will be moving. We have been offered a great opportunity for him to go to school full time and you had better believe that we are grabbing a hold of it with both hands. So for about 3 years we will be doing nothing but studying and taking tests and classes... I am excited about the upcoming changes and looking forward to the possibility to move back into the north. The school that is on the top of his list is Purdue University in Indiana so that will for sure be a huge move.

I have gotten so obsessed with knitting lately that Christopher has expressed his concern about being addicted to it and Ravelry, but I figure there are lots of things to be addicted to that are much worse, and at least this addiction brings lots of fun new hats and stuff. I have been really focused on designing and hopefully I'll get something published from a knit pattern one day...

Addison has just turned 20 months and is a non stop toddler. She loves Mickey Mouse and The Little Einsteins and Spongebob. She is talking more and just amazes me every day. You say a word to her once and she knows it forever. She is signing more and more, which just makes me giddy. We have our own special language, its fun to sign in front of our family and watch them try to figure out what we are saying to one another.

Speaking of Sign Language, I have been signing alot at church and really look forward to learning new songs and new signs. I can now have a full, well almost full, conversation with our one and only deaf couple at the church. I will be sad to leave this church and the people that I met thru it, but like all things in life, it is all for a reason and I am just praying to be strong enough and confident enough to trust God and go with the flow and see where it takes me... My church has done so much for me in my depression and all other aspects of my life, I am such a better person now because of it.

We had a friend pass away after Christmas. He lived here in Aiken. He was 23 years old, I am doing very well considering how I usually do about this sort of thing. We had to come home almost a week early to attend the funeral and stuff. He had a rupture in his Aorta so there was absolutely nothing that could have been done to prevent this or to fix it when it happened. I learned that whatever you are wanting to do, please do it today and don't wait to tell people how you feel about them. We didn't get to say goodbye before we left for Christmas and that makes me very sad. I wish that we could have. But I don't want to be full of regrets, so I just want to tell everyone that I love, that I do in fact love them and value them as a person...

Well that is about all that is new with this house...
For now...
