Round 4) (1 single crochet in each of next 2 single crochets, 2 single crochet in next stitch) repeat 8
times, slip stitch to join. Chain 1. ( 32 single crochet)
Round 5) (1 single crochet in each of next 3 single crochets, 2 single crochet in next stitch) repeat 8
times, Change to MC in final single crochet. Slip stitch to join. Chain 1. (40 single crochet)
Round 6) 1 single crochet in each single crochet around, slip stitch to join. Chain 1 (40 Single Crochet)
Round 7) 1 single crochet in back loop of each single crochet around, slip stitch to join. Chain 1 (40
single crochet)

Making the back button flap
Row 3) Single crochet in next 38 single crochet. Chain 15, turn. ( 38 single crochet, 15 chains)
Row 4) Single crochet in each chain and each single crochet around. Chain 1, turn. (52 single crochet)
Row 5) Single crochet in each single crochet across. Chain 1, turn. (52 single crochet)
Row 6) Single crochet in each single crochet across. Chain 1, turn. (52 single crochet)
Making the button hole
Row 7) Single crochet in each single crochet across for 47 single crochet, chain 3, skip next 3 single
crochet, single crochet in last two single crochet. Chain 1, turn. (49 single crochet, 3 chain)
Row 8) Single crochet in each single crochet and chain across. Chain 1, turn. (52 single crochet)
Row 9) Single crochet in each single crochet across. Chain 1 turn. (52 single crochet)
Row 10) Single crochet in each single crochet across. Chain 1, turn. (52 single crochet)
Row 11) Single crochet in each single crochet across. Do not turn, continue around finishing all the
raw edges and join with slip stitch to first single crochet in Row 11.
Finish off.
Making the front medallion
Chain 2
Round 1) 8 single crochet into 2 chain from hook. Join with slip stitch to first single crochet in round.
Round 2) Chain 1. 2 single crochet in every stitch around, slip stitch to join. Chain 1. (16 single
crochet)
Round 3) (1 single crochet in next stitch, 2 single crochet in next stitch) repeat 8 times, slip stitch to
join. Chain 1. (24 single crochet)
Round 4) Chain 1. (1 single crochet in next single crochet, Chain 2, skip 1 single crochet) repeat
around. Join to first single crochet. Finish off leaving long tail for sewing.
Finishing
Sew Medallion to front.
Sew button to back, place cozie on mug to determine placement.
Embroider CLF on front and crochet hooks over medallion on front and on bottom.
Slip onto mug and enjoy.
Tip: Put cozie on mug BEFORE hot liquids!
